Sandoz: it’s time to HACk healthcare [ENGLISH]

Not everyone has access to healthcare (400m lack access to basic healthcare services), but people in Ghana, the Maldives and the Philippines will now get a little extra help thanks to this year’s winners of Sandoz’s inaugural Healthcare Access Challenge (HACk).

Last Autumn, Sandoz, the Novartis generic and biosimilar pharmaceutical division, called for entries to Sandoz HACk – a competition looking for innovative ideas from 18-35 year olds, using mobile-health to address local healthcare access challenges. Many people still don’t have access to pharmacists and physicians – but do have access to technology, such as smartphones.
